Rivendell

Rivendell is situated on a quiet lane one hundred yards from the Main Street in Solva.   It is a detached upside down house with private off road parking and has a beautiful, mature garden with the River Solva running along one side of it with woodland beyond.

Upstairs there is a large sitting room with separate dining room, a kitchen with dish washer, fridge, freezer and microwave etc and a cloakroom.  Stairs from the hallway lead down to three bedrooms: one is en-suite with a large walk in shower and a king size double bed, the second is a  double  (queen size bed) and the third is a single.  Plenty of wardrobe space!  There is a family bathroom and a second sitting room with large windows giving a wide view across the garden.  There are two external doors on this floor which lead out into the garden and to the utility room which has a washing machine and is set up as a recycling area.  It is a lovely warm house in the Winter with reliable oil fired central heating.

Please be aware that the internal stairs although completely safe are not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties and although there is direct access to the house from the parking area access to the garden is via stairs (external and internal).

There is wi-fi at the property and integral DVD players in the televisions in both sitting rooms.  Gayle, who looks after the property, keeps it immaculately clean which is even more important than usual in these difficult times.  On arrival access is via a key box and extra sets of keys are left for you in the kitchen.

Solva is a beautiful coastal village well serviced by a selection of pubs and eating places.  It is an easy flat walk to the harbour side and to access  the coastal paths leading both to Newgale and to St Davids.

For further information please do contact or email me.  Our website is currently being re-designed and will then hold lots of images of the house and garden for you to see.
