Since the 6th century there has been a church on this site. For the past 1500 years prayer and worship has been offered to God on a daily basis which continues to this day.
In this Cathedral we strive to keep the faith which Christ and his apostles taught, to be joyful in our expression of the gospel message to the hundreds of thousands of visitors and pilgrims who come to this Cathedral every year and we hope that this website will show you some of the little things we do day by day to honour God and St David who founded this Cathedral.
We have a group of trained volunteers, who are happy to guide visitors and pilgrims around the Cathedral.
We welcome groups of all ages to the Cathedral.
We make every effort to facilitate pilgrimages.
Let us know of any special interests or requirements.

It is essential that Tour Companies and other organised groups email firstname.lastname@example.org to ensure that a service, concert or other cathedral event will not prevent the visit from taking place.Tour companies should note that a booking is not in place until they have received a confirmation advice from us.
