The Longhouse

Situated next to Freshwater Bay, Freshwater East, The Longhouse is a beach bar and bistro that offers home cooked food in a warm relaxed 200yds from the beautiful Freshwater Bay

Open 7 days a week from 10 til 10, Food served from 10 till 8 (yes you are allowed to be hungry mid-afternoon) and we are animal and family friendly throughout. Events are common here as we host coffee and cake mornings, to karaoke, to larger spectaculars like fates, live music and bonfires –  all designed to be all inclusive for the family

Sand and mud are not a problem and we have a small shop and real ice-cream parlor on site as well as high speed WIFI and sky sports and have both inside and outside areas for you to rest in and enjoy a local coffee.

Our upstairs makes an ideal area for parties and celebrations and we are licensed to do wedding and civil ceremonies and we host yoga, and ballroom dancing if you fancy a go.  There is even a small arcade

for the little ones (and not so little ones)

Our carpark is free and we allow overnight stays for caravans and motorhomes at no charge.

The beach is 100% dog friendly 100% of the year and cared for by the local community on a daily basis and we believe it should be open to everyone which is why we provide a beach wheelchair for those less able for Free  – So why not come and say hi and take a walk on one of the best beaches in the country.
